All students are welcome to join us for our 24-hour retreats or help us plan our numerous confirmation retreats for our local high school students. We also offer a week-long volunteer opportunity for those looking for a more immersive experience.

New Beginnings Retreat
Every Semester
Student retreats that are open to all SUNY Oswego Students! These 24-hour retreats take place at the beginning of each semester and are a wonderful way to meet new people and to start your year!
Intercollegiate Retreat
Every Semester
Another opportunity for a 24-hour retreat is our Intercollegiate Retreat! Join students from other colleges around the state to get away, and reflect on your life and faith.
High School Retreat Team
Many Throughout the Semester
Our High School Retreat Team facilitates retreats throughout the year for Confirmands throughout the Syracuse Diocese. Training and food are provided during the day-long retreats to parishes of Central New York. This retreat option is a great way to share your faith and acquire community service hours!
Alternative Winter Break Opportunity - Nazareth Farm
Once a Year
During Winter Break, the Newman Center leads a small retreat team to serve at Nazareth Farm, in WV. The group joins a couple of other small groups from schools across the nation. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in many lives, through various types of service projects, and experience living in community with four the cornerstones of Prayer, Service, Community, and Simplicity.
